Vacation Art in the making: a magnificent, yet cozy new Retreat Resort on beautiful Koh Mak island.

When you really need a break from a stressed out life in a freezing cold or smogged up country or if you just prefer to stay in the peace and quite of a small nature resort on a tropical island, but aren't ready to give up on all perks that modern civilization has on offer: In the Koh Mak retreat you can experience what if feels like to completely relax in the privacy of your own beachfront jacuzzi villa, while overlooking the sea that we share with a famous 5.5 star beach resort that is currently near completion on the isolated Koh Kood island.

Once you are done bubbling in the comfort of your private jacuzzi and would like to go for a swim, you will find that the seemingly endless infinity pool at this resort on Ko Mak really appears to flow directly into the clear sea in front of the Pub Pla retreat with it's amazing volcanic bedding and a golden beach.

The Koh Mak retreat, which is sometimes also known as the Plub Pla Retreat or Plub Pla resort Ko Mak, is a private beach resort were you can come to close yourself off from the world completely. The nearest resort is approximately 3 kilometers away and the only two other buildings in the area belong to the Koh Mak retreat resort. However, if at any time you and / or your partner feel the need to get out or get a little exercise, please make sure to ask our very friendly reception staff for a pair of mountain bikes and our detailed map, which holds a number of trips plotted out for you, so you can set out on an eco-friendly discovery trip of Koh Mak island without wasting the world's nearly depleted fuel reserves or being involved in the nasty accidents that seem to always come with vacation scooter rentals.

While the builders continue to create something best described as a work of art, under the all seeing supervision of the resort owners, we will continue to work on creating a fitting website. However, it seems highly unlikely that we will be able to create something that will be anywhere near as beautiful as the Koh Mak retreat and the luxurious Jacuzzi Villas, Pool View Villas and Sea view villas in it, any time soon.

Although the Plub Pla resort is still a couple of days away from being completely finished, it will enable you to get an impression of the locations of the 5 Beach Front Jacuzzi Villas, the 8 Beach Sea View Villas and the 5 slightly smaller Sea View Beach Jr. Villas and the very impressive swimming pool with the views of the gulf of Thailand and Koh Kood island in the distance.
